The 2016 has kicked off strongly for the athletes from TEMPLEOGUE Swim Club (@teamtscswim www.teamtsc.net) with a busy schedule of racing.

The athletes opened their account on Jan 9th & 10th for their respective Schools as they raced the Leinster MINOR Schools and Leinster SENIOR Schools championships for their academic institutions.  (Full results can be found by clicking links for MINOR & SENIOR Schools)

The athletes from Templeogue also raced at the Leinster Swimming Graded Meet on the weekend of the 17th January with some great success.  Some great photos of the event are on the page link below of the HUGE Team of 48 who participated in the event.

The performances continued today at the Swim Leinster Distance Meet as the crew of 47 athletes tackled the first Long Course Gala of the season.

This event is a range of 200m, 400m & distance Freestyle events delivered Long course. The day saw some big swims from athletes in these events after some great weeks of work during Christmas and NEW Year Training camps.

Ellen Walshe posted some strong swims inside the consideration times for the European Junior Championships as she went 5:03.93 in the 400IM and 2:18.2 in the 200BF, both times of which are inside the Swim Ireland consideration times for the summer meet in Hungary.
