BIG PB’s as Templeogue have strong Finals Session
The Swimming from the Templeogue Athletes continued to impress on the 3rd night of Finals as these young athletes continued to step up performances from the heats in their key events.
Tonights finals session Opened with a nail biting swim with Laura Gleeson (14) narrowly being pipped for 3rd place in the 100BF but with another substantial PB having taken a further 0.5 seconds off her heat swim to finish the event in 4th place. She’s had 100% PB’s in the meet to date and her first National Level competition.
The Boys Event saw a superb result for both Conor Kenny (12) & Daniel Walsh (12) as both boys produced PB’s from their earlier swims as Walsh finished in 5th overall. Conor Kenny continued his excellent podium form in this event with a SILVER medal performance in a fingertip finish to enhance his overall time and break a benchmark 1:20.00 swim also.

Templeogue Crew – Boys – Daniel, Conor & Sam AND Girls – Nicole, Laura, Anna, Kate & Arianne
