GOLD’s Galore to add to PB’s on last day at #IAGD2

BIG Round of APPLAUSE for TEAM TSC

What a great night of FINALS swimming tonight for the Templeogue Athletes at the last day of the @swimireland Irish Age Group Division 2 Championships (#IAGD2) in UL Sport

After a Strong Morning showing again Laura Gleeson (14), picked up her GOLD Medal on the podiumt his evening for her earlier delivery of a HUGE PB in the 400FC. This capped off a 100% PB performance this weekend for her.  Well done to Laura on a great weekend of racing.

In another fantastic and very close race Kate Sweeney (11) won GOLD in the 200BF getting her fingers on the walla for a touch just 0.3 ahead of the 2nd place finisher. Kate has raced strong races this weekend and certainly learnt a lot from this event. Big congrats for her as the smiles all the way home this evening.

DW1The Boys were represented by Daniel Walsh int he boys 100FC as he too produced another PB from his earlier heat swim to finish 7th overall in an age group where he’s another year at that age level.  Well done to Daniel on his racing this weekend as he too will have gained a lot from the event.

The Final Swim of the MEET for the Templeogue crew saw Anna O’Gara (16) complete a hat-trick of GOLD medals for the TEAM as she again improved her PB from the earlier heats to produce a great result and topped off a really good weekend for her.

Well done TEAM TSC Athletes
