Murphy gets hand on wall

Day 3 of David McCullagh was an eventful day as the meet was delayed by 3 hours following a power cut.
Not to be put off, the athlete’s recorded some strong swims capped off by Niamh Murphy won in her favourite event, the 50FC. She was back on the blocks within minutes to finish 4th in the 50BS also, rounding out a strong weekend for her.
Morning heats saw Graham Field deliver two further PB’s in his 200BC and a huge PB in his 400FC to earn him places in ‘A’ Finals in both events. Some tough pm swims delivered and Graham heads home happy with his results.
John Martin also delivered to qualify for the ‘A’ Final in 50FC finishing in 5th while both Alison O’Driscoll (50FC, 200IM) and Ann-Marie Finn (50FC, 400FC) swam strongly again this morning to gain great LC racing exposure for later in the season.
